Abstract

This article is an advancement of research project "Development of mathematical competencies in students of basic education and media in the Department of Caquetá", developed by the research group "Institutional integrated development", research, mathematics skills. The purpose of this research is to present to the community of mathematics education, the components of mathematical competition thinking and reasoning and, from them, develop your utility and didactic applicability in the complex and lengthy process of development of mathematics competencies of the students, from the learning of mathematical object average arithmetic. That is, it is to provide theoretical and methodological elements, so that math teachers can, in better conditions, help mobilize student math skills.
