Amazonia Investiga has received a formal retraction request for the aforementioned article, submitted by Dr. José Luis Rodríguez López. The request alleges irregularities related to authorship attribution, omission of institutional acknowledgments, and possible unauthorized use of data and concepts derived from the Nano-Kits-STEM IPICYT project.
In accordance with principles of transparency and editorial ethics, the journal's ethics committee has initiated a thorough review of the case to assess the validity of these allegations and make a well-founded decision.

Actions Taken:
- Both parties involved have been requested to provide information to assess the article’s authorship and originality.
- The relationship between the article and the project funded by CONAHCYT and supervised by IPICYT is being analyzed.
- Verification is underway to determine whether contributions and funding have been omitted.
Possible Outcomes of the Investigation:
- If a serious ethical violation is confirmed (plagiarism, falsification of authorship or data), a retraction of the article will proceed.
- If minor errors in attribution and acknowledgments are identified, a correction notice will be issued.
- If no significant irregularities are found, the article will remain published without modifications.
